With a small party we have opened new Klasek Tea Shop in Holešovice district, Prague. We have moved to this new space already in October, yet many things and preparations had to be done and we still have a lot of work ahead.

Spring Flush in Hadong, South Korea
The most common ways to differenciate grades of quality is using the labels Ujeon (or Woojeon, made in April), Sejak (late April – May) and Jungjak (May). These terms moreless correspond to „first flush, second flush and third flush“ used as labels for high quality Inidan teas. Ujeon is made of the smallest earliest shots, therefor is most expensive.
The World of Puerh Teas
Pu-erh teas form a very diverse and distinctive group; they are made from a large-leaf variety of tea tree that grows in the tropical mountainous area of Yunnan, a south-western Chinese province bordering with Burma, Laos and Vietnam. It is a tea with a rich history that dates back to the beginning of the current era, and it is generally acknowledged that it is possibly the oldest method of tea leaf processing at all.
Tea Cupping ála Matcha
Next week, on 28th of April, there will be another “tea cupping” (tea degustation) in Bitcoin Coffee (Paralelní Polis in Prague´s Holešovice district). We meet there every month to taste various teas together. We try to get a deeper knowledge about them, to learn how to dinstinguish flavors and aromas of this amazing beverage, how to recognize nuances and how to evaluate tea in a right way.
Outdoor Tea Set for Five Drinkers
Last year, we have brought this tea set from Taiwan with an intension to try it out first on our journeys. After nearly one year we can say we have had amyn beautiful moments with, visiting mountains, rocks, forests or parks in all coners of our country, as well as in abroad. Believe i tor not, not a single piece was broken, neither in wilderness nor in city parks. The tea set has proven itself. Therefor, we are happy to introduce it now a to our e-shop.
Black Bio Teas from Japan
Japanese black teas, that we introduce, unlike common black tea are oxidized rather briefly. Also the cultivars used for these teas are traditional green tea varieties. This allows the tea to develop an extraordinary, fruity and flowery flavor. We have two different features.
