In a meeting held last nigt (29th March) in Siliguri between the representatives of Darjeeling Tea Association and GJM (party for „Gorkha Land“), CPRM and Congress, it was decided the embargo would be lifted from 63 gardends gathered under DTA. The remaining 23 gardens still have the tea embargo.

Unloading the kiln with the Novak’s in Doupě
On Sunday, March 27, we managed to be present for unloading of freshly fired pottery from the kiln. The ceramists Petr Novák and Mirka Randová, whose work you already know from our website, live in the village of Doupě, where they are reconstructing a farmhouse and building the Ceramics Studio Doupě (www.kcdoupe.cz). They use it for their own work as well as for holding ceramic workshops and meetings.
First Flush from Darjeeling chosen!
After tasting 27 samples from the Tumsong, Lingia, Marybong, Ging, Bannockburn, Tukdah and Phoobsering gardens yesterday, we selected and reserved two of the Darjeeling First Flushes of this year.
